Influencers who attended the desert party on April 16 and 17 took to social media to express their frustrations with transportation, food, drink, and other necessities while at the event, which was held near the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. However, Revolve, a global online store is banning comparisons of their Revolve Festival to the infamous Fyre Festival.

Over the weekend, Revolve “sincerely” apologized for keeping influencers in the dark at its 2022 Coachella festival. In response to the criticism over its star-studded event, which was compared to the now-infamous Fyre Festival debacle, during which participants were forced to remain in FEMA tents having paid ticket fees ranging from $1,200 to $100,000, the fashion brand issued a statement.

A representative told E! News Tuesday that they are working closely with authorities to ensue the safety of everyone.

“In anticipation of the high level of interest in attending Revolve Festival this year, Revolve worked closely with all appropriate city and safety authorities to ensure a safe and secure path for guests to access the two-day invitation-only event.”

The spokesman added that the off-site location provided shuttle and ride-share services. But according to them, the system began to fail Saturday afternoon as their event grew more crowded.

“As the festival was reaching capacity late Saturday afternoon, shuttle access to the venue was limited in order to remain in compliance with safety requirements, causing longer wait times for entry and resulting in some guests not being able to attend the festival. The safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us, and we will always make that a priority.”

Revolve ended its message with an apology and a promise to do better next time. “We sincerely apologize to all the guests who were impacted,” the representative added. “We always strive to provide a great experience, and we promise to do better.” However, Kim Kardashian, Halsey, Olivia Culpo, Chanel Iman, and her new lover, Davon Godchaux, were among the celebrities that managed to get into the event.
