Tom Brady will attempt to prove that he is the greatest NFL quarterback of all time on June 1st. This time, the score won’t be settled on the gridiron. Instead, a group of elite NFL QBs will take to the links to find out who is the best at golf.

The next edition of “The Match” will feature Tom Brady teaming up with Aaron Rodgers to take on Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. The match will take place on June 1 and will air on TNT. Tom Brady tweeted that he was hoping for a tag team steel cage match, but the lawyers wouldn’t let it happen.

“We tried to make this a tag team cage match but the lawyers said our contracts wouldn’t allow it…

#CapitalOnesTheMatch is back, June 1st. Let’s kick their ass @AaronRodgers12 | @JoshAllenQB @PatrickMahomes”

The matchup will take place in a 12-hole match-play format. This will be the first of six iterations of “The Match” to not feature a professional golfer. It will be Brady and Rodgers’ second time competing in the special event.

Football-starved fans can get a look at the QB golf battle on June 1. The Match takes place at the Wynn Las Vegas golf course. Tom Brady would have rather seen it go down in the squared circle at T-Mobile Arena, but golf will have to do for now.
