Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lil Durk’s feud appears to have resurfaced. Fans must have noticed that Tekashi’s latest song contains certain messages. In his “GINE” video, Tekashi 6ix9ine sends a subliminal aim at Lil Durk, hinting at King Von’s demise through his rap.

The song alludes to Lil Durk’s longtime collaborator and buddy King Von, who was shot and killed in 2020. In the second stanza, 6ix9ine mocks Lil Durk, chastising the OTF rapper for not seeking vengeance for King Von’s murder. Tekashi addressed few lines of rap to Lil Durk to take a stand for King Von.

“Your man got shot, you made a diss track/Go get a gun and get some get back/Your man got shot, he not coming back/Go get a gun and get some get back/You a b####, I knew you wouldn’t ride for your homie/I knew you wouldn’t ride by your doley.”

Despite the fact that 6ix9ine does not reference Lil Durk by name in “GINE,” the music video for the song makes it apparent who he is referring to. Around the 1:25 mark, a notice reading “Slide 4 Von” flashes briefly. 6ix9ine has been quiet on the music front for the past year, but “GINE” marks his return. The controversial rapper’s new single is his first since the release of “ZAZA” in February 2021.
