Pat McAfee got to do something a lot of kids who grow up watching pro wrestling could never dream of. The punter turned popular podcast host got to step into a WWE ring with one of his idols at WrestleMania 38. Pat has now shared his video journal of the entire experience.

McAfee’s WrestleMania weekend is fully documented from the time he arrived in Dallas. Pat marveled at the grandeur of the massive live event. Pat McAfee even got to share a special WrestleMania moment with one of his heroes.

In the video, Pat says he never got to see Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestle as a kid. Getting to see Austin’s last match was more than enough. It didn’t stop there, though. Pat got to have his moment in the ring with the Texas Rattlesnake in one of the most memorable moments of the weekend.

“I dreamed of meeting Steve Austin. I dreamt of being in the building when that glass breaks, and all of a sudden the toughest son of a bitch on Earth comes out. The fact that I never got to see him as a kid… That I got to watch his last match live. It was awesome…

I got beer in my ears. Like it feels like I have water in my ears. I just had the incredible opportunity and honor to chug beers with Stone Cold Steve Austin, have a WrestleMania match that Vince McMahon was a part of. I’m living on cloud 50 right now, dude. This is sweet. What a day! What a dream! What a life!”

Pat McAfee will never forget his experience at WrestleMania 38. As a young boy, he dreamed of seeing Steve Austin wrestle. Now, he can forever say that he got to share the spotlight with him for one special moment.
