DaBaby found himself embroiled in controversy after he was involved in a shooting incident at his property. Now more details have come to light related to the shooting that took place on DaBaby’s estate in Troutman, North Carolina.

According to TMZ, the Billboard chart-topping rapper had a conversation with the intruder before he proceeded to shoot him in the leg after the person breached a fence surrounding the $2.3 million mansion. Soon after, DaBaby called 911 and was cooperative with officers once they arrived on the scene.

As we reported earlier, the Troutman Police Department responded to reports of a shooting on Wednesday night (April 13) and discovered an un-identified person with a non-life threatening gunshot wound on the property.

The shooting victim was transported to local hospital for treatment. Troutman town manager Ron Wyatt shared DaBaby stays at the home periodically and it’s impossible to stumble on the property by accident. One of the DaBaby’s relatives is reportedly listed as the owner of the estate, which is surrounded by a large wall and manned by security guards.

As of now, police have made no arrests. All the evidence will be turned over to the District Attorney. This is a developing story, stay tuned to Thirsty for future updates.
