The longtime host of “America’s Next Top Model,” Tyra Banks is receiving a major backlash due to her time on the reality television series. It appears the criticism on Twitter was too much for her.

One of the things “ANTM” was famous for was waging psychological warfare on its contestants. Banks received heat several times for her harsh criticisms of the competitors as a judge of the show back then and it is happening again.

The series premiered in May 2003 and soon became a huge hit. Ever since its inception the show has been responsible for introducing aspiring people to the model industry.

A short while ago, Banks took up hosting duties on “Dancing with the Stars,” which filled fans with fury. Her performance and wardrobe were scrutinized and failed to impress the audience.

Banks deleted her Twitter, allegedly due to the backlash from “DWTS” fans and after being asked questions regarding her run on America’s Next Top Model.

While the backlash only grew intense Tyra’s fans noticed that her twitter account disappeared on Monday without any prior notice. As you many know, Twitter was flooding with the lot of resurfaced videos of her severely berating the contestants of “ANTM.” It is said that to further more adverse reaction, she has deleted her account on the platform.
