Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics recently took to Twitter to share his data analysis on the top 40 most searched pro wrestling stars from January to March this year. 40 most-searched for wrestling-related personalities, January to March 2022.
Names like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Steve Austin appeared mostly because of WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes is also among the leaders because of the buzz he created during his AEW exit and WWE comeback. The Undertaker appeared because of his recent induction in the Hall of Fame.
It’s no surprise that The Rock and John Cena came second and third in the top 40 list respectively. Scott Hall appeared fourth after the icon passed away recently. Bad Bunny’s Royal Rumble appearance this year was a one-off as he will be busy with his touring all year round. We’ll have to see when Bad Bunny will appear on WWE television once again.
