50 Cent Fighting $50k Dispute With Love & Hip-Hop Star

50 Cent is well-known for his influence in the hip-hop industry and has been dubbed a “master of the nuanced art of lyrical brevity.” 50 Cent is constantly attacking Tearria Marie for failing to pay the court-ordered judgment. Cent has even demanded that she appear in court for failing to pay the amount, but Mari has recently stated that she lives across the country.

Teairra Mari, the star of Love & Hip Hop, is fighting 50 Cent’s request that she appear in a California court later this month, claiming she lives across the country. According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Mari is asking a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to deny a motion filed by the mogul.

As previously reported, 50 Cent is looking for the $50,000 Mari owes him. She filed a lawsuit against him for reposting an explicit photo of her that had leaked online. He scoffed at the notion that he had done anything wrong.

When he posted the photo, it was already all over the internet, according to 50. A judge eventually agreed with 50 and dismissed all of his claims. He awarded the music mogul $30,000 in legal fees.

50 has struggled to collect the money and has accused Mari of being slow. He claims she has refused to turn over financial information. Mari “has been the subject of repeated sanctions by this Court but has been seemingly unswayed by such actions and has not paid any money towards the Judgment or sanctions against her, making the increased penalties associated with a finding of contempt necessary,” 50’s lawyer recently stated in court documents.

He recently requested that the court not only find Mari in contempt but also order her to appear in court for an examination. Mari now claims that 50 wants her to appear in court in Los Angeles on April 20. The problem, according to the reality star, is that she lives in Georgia. She also claims that she is willing to “engage in efforts to satisfy the debts at issue and will participate in the discovery process moving forward.”

Mari’s attempt to avoid the examination has yet to be responded to by 50 Cent, but he is unlikely to be pleased. His attorneys have previously stated that the reality star has not paid a dime on the judgment. He tried to seize her VH1 paychecks and even tried to figure out how much she was making through Instagram endorsements and her music career.
