Selena Gomez is one of the most celebrated figures in the pop-culture for more than a decade. While the pop-star received her big break through starring in Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place and built her own empire of pop, the road has not been without struggles.

Gomez recently revealed that she has been off the Internet for a good four and a half years. The star appeared on Good Morning America, and said that being off the Internet “changed her life completely.

The star said that being off the Internet has made her more happy and present in her life. It’s also facilitated great connection with people in her life. She added that the Internet has done great things for her, but she said that it’s important for her to get the news that helps her with her real relationships.

I am happier, I am more present, I connect more with people. I understand how powerful the internet is, and in so many ways it’s done the best things for the world. But for me, I get to my news that is actually important I get through people in my life.

Gomez still amasses more than 300 million followers on Instagram. She is currently promoting Wondermind, which is a mental health support platform she helped found.

The pop-star has opened up about her struggle with bipolar disorder previously as well. Wondermind’s goal, she told GMA, is that it will make the resources needed to get mental health support available to anyone without it costing a lot of money.
