Kevin Durant is one of the best scorers in NBA history, and he might very well be a top ten player of all time when everything is said and done. Durant is currently with the Brooklyn Nets, despite having spent the first half of his NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors. It seems KD clapped back at Nick Wright after the conclusion of a recent game.
Kevin Durant’s Brooklyn Nets faced the Milwaukee Bucks in a crucial game last night. In the end, the Nets were defeated in overtime owing to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s heroics, who had been on a tear throughout the evening. Giannis got 44 points in the game, while KD had 26.
Without a doubt, it wasn’t KD’s best performance of the season, especially against a competitor. KD was slandered after the game, particularly by none other than Nick Wright. Nick took to twitter to troll KD for being stuck as the second best for life.
I legit feel for KD… he had to be 2nd best to LeBron for a decade and the MOMENT he might’ve passed LeBron, Giannis passed him. 2nd player out of high school. 2nd pick in the draft. 2nd best player in the NBA for life. Legit awful luck.
KD has established himself as the king of NBA Twitter. As a result, he did not go unnoticed by this slander. KD hit back at Wright telling him not to feel bad for the god as life has been incredibly little.
Don’t feel bad for the god. Life has been incredible little Nicky.
For some, this may appear to be a sham, but Wright has been a Durant sceptic for years, so it’s likely Durant was relieved to get this one-time deal. Regardless, the Nets were trying to avoid this setback, since it nearly guarantees that they will be locked in play-in game territory come playoff time. You can see some of the game’s highlights in the video below.
