Triple H was forced to retire from in-ring competition for WWE after undergoing a very serious cardiac event. It was reported in February that the WWE superstar was unlikely to ever wrestle again. The Game himself recently confirmed that disappointing news.

Ric Flair is no stranger to Triple H. The two had a long-time relationship as friends, co-workers, and even partners. The Nature Boy said he was extremely saddened to hear that his old pal will not be able to wrestle in the future.

Flair spoke about Triple H to 105.3 The Fan in Dallas ahead of this weekend’s WrestleMania 38. The WWE Hall of Famer was hoping to see one more match. Flair is sickened that he won’t get that chance.

“I’m sick that he’s not going to have that last match, to be honest with you. But his legacy is in place, and he will be highly thought of and highly remembered forever.

But I do wish he had one more match. I just want him to make an appearance. I think the wrestling fans need a live appearance from him, to hear it in his own words, just in front of 80,000 people, one time.”

Triple H said that Vince McMahon had plans for him to return at WrestleMania 38. His health problems, unfortunately, have to come first. Ric Flair will never get that one last match he was hoping for from The King of Kings.
