Jenelle Evans is always generating attention and oftentimes controversy comes with it. Now she is in poor health, and she is dealing with a very real issue.

The Teen Mom star was taken to the hospital Thursday after complaining for chest pains. It turns out that the she might be suffering from a chronic case of an autoimmune disorder.

The 30-year old revealed to her fans by taking to Instagram and posting a story about being at the hospital. She told them that she had spent the whole yesterday in the hospital because of chest pains. She also implored her followers to “please just send prayers.”

Evans updated her followers with another post where she revealed the results of her blood test. She said that she has the presence of “2 of the anti-acetylcholine receptor antibodies: blocking and binding in my system.” She further added that these anti-bodies are usually found in the case of “myasthenia gravis.”

The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America describes it as “a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disorder” which is classified on the basis of the voluntary muscle groups intermittently getting weaker.

The former MTV star has dealt with the diagnosis of another medical condition back this month. She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a condition due to which pain, fatigue and distress are widely spread within the body.
