Pete Davidson was all set to take a trip to outer space with billionaire, Jeff Bezos. However, it appears Kanye West’s dream to shoot the SNL star back to his home planet will now have to take the backseat, because Skete dropped out of the plan.

TMZ reports that Pete will no longer be going to outer space as he’s dropped out of the flight after it’s launch date was pushed back. Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin made a announcement on Thursday.

“Blue Origin’s 20th flight of New Shepard has shifted to Tuesday, March 29. Pete Davidson is no longer able to join the NS-20 crew on this mission. We will announce the sixth crew member in the coming days.”

The announcement comes as a surprise when considering the supposed launch date was less than a week away on March 23rd. It’s currently unclear why Pete will be unable to make the trip. Pete’s busy schedule may be a reason why he opted out of the space flight.
