Kim Kardashian recently made one of the most out of touch comments by a celebrity in recent memory. The millionaire who was born with a silver spoon in her mouth recently complained that nobody wanted to work these days. Fans reminded Kim that she was born to a wealthy attorney whose wife left him for a famous Olympic gold medalist. Now things are getting even worse for the former Mrs. West.

Kardashian’s interview with Variety did nothing to make the reality star and business mogul look good. While being seen by many as out-of-touch because of Kardashian’s privileged upbringing, employees of companies owned by the Kardashians and Jenners have taken it a different way. They took it as a slight of their work ethics.

Employees from Kim’s family businesses have been speaking out about the poor working conditions in the company. Several took to Twitter to air their grievances. The complaints included poor pay, long hours, and unwarranted reprimands of all varieties.

“I was an editor on the Kardashian apps in 2015 in LA, worked days nights & weekends, could only afford groceries from the 99 Cents Only Store, called out “sick” more than once bc I couldn’t put gas in my car to get to the office, & was reprimanded for freelancing on the side.”

“I did when I worked on the show for 2 seasons during the peak of my alcoholism”

There were also reports that several interns did not take Kim Kardashian’s comments well. They saw the statements as a slight against working women everywhere. Kim Kardashian and her family will have plenty of PR work ahead of them to clean up the latest mess.
