Kanye West is one of the hottest acts in the industry. The rap icon has a number of achievements to his name. It appears he is still going strong as he has hit another milestone.

Ye’s album, Donda, has been certified platinum by the RIAA. The album has earned over one million equivalent album sales since its release. It’s certainly an incredible feat to achieve.

Donda was West’s pet project of a solo studio album. It is also his 9th to reach the platinum mark with 2019’s Jesus Is King and 2022’s Donda 2 remaining short of one million sales. However, Donda 2 will be ineligible for consideration on the Billboard Charts, as he has released the album solely through his stem player.

West explained his decision to not share Donda 2 on streaming services by reflecting on how poorly they pay artists.
