Thievery has become all too common at Walgreens. Onlookers do little to nothing to prevent such blatant act of thievery. One such incident went down this week at a Walgreens in the Bay Area.

This particular incident came with a twist as someone did try to prevent the thief from getting away. It all turned into a food brawl of sorts as the thief and the customer tried their best to make the other submit.

It all began when a guy literally went behind the checkout counter at one of these drug stores in the Richmond District of SF to grab whatever he could and get out of there as soon as possible.

This time, however, somebody was sick of playing bystander and decided to get in the mix a bit, to at least let the thief know. The two got into a food fight of sorts, with fruit being the first weapon of choice.

The crook and customer traded banana blows, and eventually the former threw what appeared to be cookies before getting out of Dodge. Check out the video below.
