Matthew McConaughey is famous for his blockbuster movies which rakes in millions of dollars. Aside from his acting skills, the Hollywood star boasts a head full of hair. It appears, Matthew has become a walking billboard for the company that helped him achieve his full mane.

Matt recently slammed speculations that a hair transplant was the culprit of his incredible hair transformation. The actor revealed that Regenix’s daily hair ointment saved him. TMZ reached out to the people at the company, and they reveled to the outlet that Matt actually saved their business.

Bill Edwards, CEO of Regenix told TMZ that McConaughey has been a customer of the hair ointment brand since 1999. It wasn’t until he gave the company a shoutout on the ‘Late Show’ in 2001 that it began to see a huge uptick of customers from all over the world.

McConaughey’s star status increased the demand to a point where the company had to initiate a new mail-order program for potential International clients. Under this new system, people would send over their hair samples and Regenix designed a tailored plan to regrow hair.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, Regnix’s brick and mortar clinic in L.A. was forced to shut down and the company decided to go all-in on expanding their existing mail-order program. Bill claimed they didn’t lose a single customer due to their improved program.

Bill also revealed Matt helped the hair treatment company on multiple fronts from getting more customers and giving them a new way to withstand the Covid-19 business shutdown. In return, Bill offers free hair treatments to Matt & his good pals. Meanwhile, You can check out Matt on Letterman below.
