NBA YoungBoy is currently one of the most recognizable and controversial rappers in the Hip-Hop world. Never Broke Again YoungBoy has also faced his own fair share of legal issues over the years. It seems he was accused of ripping off Playboi Carti as well.
The rapper is no longer in jail but that doesn’t mean he’s free. NBA YoungBoy is still under house arrest to serve the rest of his sentence. Despite being confined to his own home, it seems his work hasn’t suffered.
On the other hand, Playboy Carti is certainly one of the most established rappers in the Hip-Hop world right now. Despite that, he is no stranger to controversy.
NBA YoungBoy and DaBaby’s new collaborative album Better Than You dropped recently NBA YoungBoy fleshed out this Carti flow, which was introduced in a previous trailer.
“Glizzy, glizzy, show ’em what that Draco do (Blatt! Blatt!)/Pass that drank from Syracuse (Ha! Ha!)/Millions, millions, Bentley, Bentley, Lamb’ truck too.”
When a leak of the song surfaced, fans took to Twitter and accused NBA YoungBoy of ripping off Playboi Carti. It is not hard to see why fans accused him as YoungBoy certainly sounds like Carti. We will have to wait and see how successful the collab album will end up being.
