Gucci continued, “Stop beatin’ ’round the bush and just get to the point/You wanna be me, I know what you want/But you ain’t gotta pull no publicity stunt.” Gucci’s response has sent Twitter and those around hip hop into frenzy hence leading to Gucci trending on the social media platform.

Fans are calling out YoungBoy for not knowing better and going after established names like Gucci. Some praised how calmly Gucci responded to the diss track yet making a point of who’s better between the two. One twitter user noted, “If not for what the industry has become, who’s young YoungBoy to disrespect a Legend like Gucci Mane if we are to keep it!

Gucci also asked YB if he’s his fan or his enemy, calling back to the rapper’s famous lyrics, “I feel like I’m Gucci Mane in 2006.” The diss track has received mixed reactions from fans.
