Dua Lipa is one of the hottest pop acts in the industry. She has a massive fanbase across the globe. The pop star recently reflected upon her once ridiculed dance moves.

The artist recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. During the course of the show, Dua opened up about her once ridiculed choreography. It appears, she is ready to laugh off a dance move that trolls previously said looked like she was ‘trying to put her shoe on in a rush or something.’

Dua said referring to her quirky dance move that got made fun of in 2018, ‘The reason we’re talking about it is because I brought it back. I’m doing it on my tour,’ She added: ‘I’m reclaiming it because there was a moment where it actually caused me a lot of grief. Like I was being bullied online. It wasn’t very nice, but now I can look at it from a different perspective.’ She further said,

‘I look back on it with such fondness because it helped me grow into the artist I wanted to become. It made me work harder. I went in, I did more rehearsal. I just wanted to become a real performer and I think that was the thing I needed,’ the performed concluded.’

It’s safe to say the music sensation has overcome her weaknesses. The pop star has been earning praise for her dance moves after kicking off her Future Nostalgia tour earlier this week.

The Levitating hitmaker said, ‘I’m so lucky to have so many pinch-me moments in my life,’ In June, the artist thanked her critics for the ‘online abuse’ over her dancing and stage presence that encouraged her to ‘get better.’  The superstar said that ‘getting bullied online made her want to dance her a*** off’, as she reacted to the negative comments about her early performances.

Meanwhile, you can check out a short clip from her time on the show below.
