It’s been a harsh season for the New Orleans Pelicans’ young star Zoe Williamson as he has been sidelined due to a foot injury since the end of last season. As he is currently rehabbing for an injury, a Mardi Gras parade float decided to poke fun at him.

Williamson has rarely made public appearances during his rehab process, and whenever he did, fans noticed very unusual look of him. All the photos and videos surfaced of him from this time, and many speculate and discuss that he has let go of himself.

Mardi Gras parade made fun of Williamson by depicting him as an obese person. In the portrayal, he is wearing a t-shirt that read “1 ton” and showed him holding a long sandwich. Whereas the text bubble of him said, “I’m hungry.” Evidently taking Jabs at Williamson’s recent weight gain.

Along with the rumors and talks, we also saw ESPN taking shots at Williamson for being a bad teammate for not reaching out to CJ McCollum, who was newly traded to the Pelicans. He has been a constant target of mockery.

Not only has the media made him a roast target, but his own fans and city can be seen taking jabs at him. It is unclear when Zion will return, but it is certain that he is not going to play this season.
