Columbus Short made a name for himself due to his roles in the Stomp the Yard films, among others. Short has been making headlines for one reason or the other lately as well. It seems Short has faced some charges recently.

As reported earlier, Short was arrested at his home in California over a verbal dispute with his wife, which eventually turned physical. This is not his first arrest when it came to this matter as he also was arrested back in 2018 for domestic violence.

Columbus Short even denied being abusive on top of that. According to TMZ, Columbus Short’s case was initially presented for potential felony charges to the L.A. County D.A., but it was then sent down to the City Attorney.

Short was charged with 2 misdemeanor counts, one for domestic violence and one for child endangerment. It was said the child endangerment charge was hit because the incident allegedly took place in front of a child.

Police officers stated that Short didn’t have any marks or bruises, while he claimed that his wife punched him in the face. Police also saw his wife had a small injury, which was a scratch on her finger. It was said that she got it when Columbus tried to snatch her phone.

It was further added that Columbus Short has always struggled with addiction issues and is taking each day at a time. It was said that his family is his priority as he tries to fix his life. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
