James Harden left the Brooklyn nets to join the Philadelphia 76ers in a blockbuster trade on Thursday. Many sources reported that Kyrie Irving was eager to see him go. The two guards reportedly had disputes, primarily because of Irving’s vaccination status.

On Friday, Irving responded to a troll on Twitter to defend himself and teammate Kevin Durant, the Twitter user said the pair has combined maturity of an “upset 8th grader” to which Kyrie replied by writing, “Or You get an example of Black Indigenous Excellence at a craft that only a few individuals out billions of people can do.”

Kyrie also responded to another Twitter user who blamed him for James Harden’s departure, hinting that Irving’s vaccination status is the reason for it. To which Irving responded, “Orrrrr regardless of anything, I am set up for the rest of my life and so are the next seven generations of family members that come after,” he wrote. “I did this all before turning 30, so I love being a weirdo lol.”

Also, it seems that Irving still has no intentions of getting vaccinated, as one of the tweets that he replied to was a fan urging him to get vaccinated. Irving responded with “Nah” to it.

However, the most liked and important response from this Twitter session was when Irving replied with a GIF of Darth Vader captioned, “Prepare for my arrival.” to a tweet that said Barclays Center isn’t the same without him. You can check Kyrie’s tweets below.
