Freedom of speech is a fundamental right in several countries all over the world. However, that has been proven wrong in various instances as social media has shown that it dictates what can be said and what cannot. Joe Rogan has been controversial for a long time, but it seems he continues to draw the ire of fans yet again.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan has faced a lot of trials and tribulations throughout his career. He also has one of the most popular podcasts on Spotify. Joe Rogan took a week-long absence from his podcast at Spotify as he was blasted for accusations that he openly welcomed false public health information on his show.

Joe Rogan recently claimed that he never used the n-word to be racist after getting blasted by numerous fans and celebrities alike. Even the CEO of Spotify condemned him for his racist comments.

Despite this, he also has his fair share of defenders, including the likes of Donald Trump. In an unlikely move, Jake Paul took to Twitter and called out the hypocrisy after ESPN and Disney pulled Joe Rogan from the UFC broadcast but still stand behind someone like Dana White.

So ESPN and Disney pull Joe Rogan from the UFC broadcast but stand behind Dana White who calls reporters douche bags, says a female fighter looks like a male fighter in dress and heels, and claims brain damage is part of the gig? You pulled the wrong guy Mr. Chapek

Even The Rock reversed his support of Joe Rogan after learning about his use of the n-word. Spotify also removed over 70 episodes of Joe Rogan’s podcast so far. It remains to be seen whether Joe Rogan will continue to get cancelled or not.
