Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has always tried to stay clear of controversy in his life. The blockbuster actor has successfully developed a wholesome image in front of his fans. However, this does not mean he was like this in the past. After The Rock publicly showed support of Joe Rogan’s controversial comments, fans started digging into his past.

A Twitter user brought to The Rock’s attention that Joe Rogan repeatedly used the N-word during his podcasts. The Rock soon responded to it with, “I was not aware of his N word use prior to my comments, but now I’ve become educated to his complete narrative. Learning moment for me.” However, this wasn’t the end of it as Twitter users started digging into his Twitter past.

Fans found some really disheartening comments from their beloved star. A message he wrote to someone in 2011 resurfaced which read, “It’s not our fault you’re turning tranny tricks to put yourself thru nursing school.” The tweet was deleted but not before it reached Donald Trump Jr’s eyes.

Trump Jr publicly called out The Rock and he didn’t pull any punches. He said in his tweet, the 49-year old actor can’t just “quietly delete transphobic attacks” without issuing a serious apology to the public. Trump Jr. further said, if he doesn’t give an apology then he should forget working in Hollywood. He tagged Rock’s sponsors/partners such as Ford, Apple and Netflix to ask for their opinion on Rock’s “hateful rhetoric.”

Along with a screenshot of an old Rock tweet that said, “Shhh. don’t be angry Ms Katie. It’s not your fault you’re turning tranny tricks to put yourself thru nursing school,” Trump Jr. tweeted out to say:

Wow, @TheRock, you can’t just try to quietly delete transphobic attacks without giving a groveling apology and expect to ever work in Hollywood again.

Do @UnderArmour, @Ford, @Apple, @Netflix and the rest of his sponsors/partners agree with this hateful rhetoric?

Trump Jr. spoke out against the actor in another tweet. He criticized The Rock for referring to John Cena as a “bloated transvestite Wonder Woman” during a promo. He wrote in his tweet, “Yikes!!! More transphobia from @TheRock. Starting to notice a pattern here.” Trump Jr. also called out The Rock’s sponsors/partners for lining up their pockets with this type of “bigotry and hatred.”

Meanwhile, The Rock has yet to respond to this new wave of attacks from Trump Jr. This recent controversy will certainly splash into his career as a Hollywood actor. We will be on the lookout for more updates. In the mean time, check out the tweets from Trump Jr. below.
