One of the highlights from last summer’s Verzuz in New York was when Jadakiss dropped his Freestyle over “Who Shot Ya.” Cam’ron wasn’t in spirits as other members of The Diplomats, just like how Dipset wasn’t on same level with The LOX.

Dipset rapper Jim Jones said he hasn’t spoken with Cam’ron since they battled against The LOX for their Verzuz, In an interview on the Angie Martinez Show.

Jones elaborated in the interview that he wasn’t entirely in a pleasant mood at the event because there was so much going on. He did point out how he was the one that really wanted Dipset members to unite for that evening.

“It was something I wanted” Jim said. “When Cam gets an interview, he’s going to say, ‘This is something that Jim wanted. He offered to give me his money to do this event.’ Yes, n***a. I did. He took the whole bag,” he said. After that Angie asked him if Cam regretted the performance, he chuckled and added, “I don’t know. I haven’t spoke to since the Verzuz,”

When Jim was asked if Cam is mad about any of it, he said, “I don’t know. Cam making a shitload of money. Who cares?”. “Cam don’t care about too much. He makes money and that’s what he cares about. His own world he be in.”

Around the 25-minute mark of the interview linked below, Jones opened up about the event.
