Tom Brady Announces His Retirement From The NFL

Tom Brady’s 22 seasons as a quarterback in the NFL put him in the conversation of greatest overall athlete of all time. Now the GOAT QB is really hanging up his jersey for good.

News broke a couple of days ago of Brady’s retirement, but he did not cop to it. His agent released a statement instead to say that any announcement will come from Tom himself. For that matter, Brady’s father didn’t believe talk of retirement either.

Now Brady has officially announced his retirement from the game of football. While using his Instagram, Tom Brady revealed his decision to leave the NFL to a new generation.

I’ve done a lot of reflecting the past week and have asked myself difficult questions. And | am so proud of what we have achieved. My teammates, coaches, fellow competitors, and fans deserve 100% of me, but right now, it’s best | leave the field of play to the next generation of dedicated and committed athletes. To my Bucs teammates the past two years, | love you guys, and | have loved going to battle with you. You have dug so deep to challenge yourself, and it inspired me to wake up every day and give you my best. | am always here for you guys and want to see you continue to push yourselves to be your best. | couldn’t be happier with what we accomplished together.

Tom Brady will likely never leave the public eye. He will now have more time to shoot those amazing commercials that we all know and love. If anything, Brady will have more time with his family and his body won’t get banged up at work. We’ll have to see what’s next for the GOAT QB, but Brady’s playing days are officially over.
