Ric Flair and Wendy Barlow have split up and the pro wrestling world was a bit shocked by this. Flair saw Wendy stick by his side through tremendous hardships over the years, but the couple called it quits.

Flair tweeted out to clarify the situation as he said, “This Is An Opportunity For Wendy Who Spent Four Years Taking Care Of Me Every Day During My Period Of Illness. She Deserves Every Minute Of The Rest Of Her Life To Be Who She Is- Lovely, Kind Hearted, Intelligent; And Not Have To Take Care Of Me! FYI- Traveling Around The Country With Me Is Not An Easy Job! Thank You Wendy For All You Have Done! The Door Is Never Closed! Please Respect Who She Is & Who I Am.”

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer further revealed that Flair wasn’t even living with Wendy for months before their split was made public.

They had sort of split before. He was not living with her as of late. I had sort of heard that. It’s too bad, I mean I hate to see situations like that, but I could talk about Ric’s track record too.

We will have to see if Ric Flair ends up with a new woman on his arm eventually. He wished Wendy the best of luck after taking care of him for so many years. It seems that he is taking the situation with stride.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
