Kirsten Dunst and Jamie Dornan, co-stars of “Marie Antoinette” recently got together for Variety’s Actors on Actors roundtable chat, where they reminisced about the movie.

The movie featured Dunst in the titular character’s role, while Dornan portrayed Axel von Fersen, Antoinette’s friend from the Swedish court. The movie marked a significant point earlier in both their careers.

Dunst, in particular, was quite overwhelmed while filming the movie. Specifically, she recalls feeling uncomfortable shooting the movie’s nude scenes, admitting that she was nervous during them.

All our stuff was like making out, and I’m not comfortable with that. It’s never comfortable, ever.

Dornan, in response, commended Dunst for handling it well, stating that “[he] thought [she was] in control of everything.” It certainly is a testament to Dunst’s professionalism that she was able to carry out the scenes despite her discomfort.
