Tiger King’ star Jeff Lowe has made it clear he is persistent when it comes to his show. Lowe plans on taking the zoo ‘Tiger King’ made famous out of the country in order to avoid the law.

While speaking to TMZ, Jeff Lowe has signed a deal to build a zoo in Mexico. It will be built on a 35-acre property between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. He further added the new zoo will be built among a lush jungle with natural water features. He has already obtained the required permits for the construction and possession of animals.

Lowe plans on opening the zoo in the next 12 to 16 months and it will feature tigers, lions, as well as lemurs, sloths, giraffes and a pair of elephants. He is currently thinking about the name of the zoo as well.

Jeff Lowe is more than open to partnerships and is currently working on the Mexico project with an old friend who already owns a small zoo in Playa del Carmen.

The move to Mexico comes after Jeff and his wife Lauren were banned from ever exhibiting animals again in the USA. This is because a judge ruled they had violated the Endangered Species Act by delivering, carrying and exhibiting animals without a license. However, the DOJ dropped all of the civil charges against the Lowes. We will have to wait and see how Lowe’s Mexican zoo will turn out to be.
