The drama between Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn has taken over all news outlets since the past few days. The feud between them doesn’t have an end in it’s sight. Just recently, their attempt at truce went down the drain. Now, Britney has threatened to take Jamie to court.

PageSix obtained a cease and desist letter sent to Jamie Lynn by Britney’s lawyer Mat Rosengart. Mat fiercely demanded in the letter that Jamie stops referencing Britney derogatorily during her promotional campaign. He added, “If you fail to do so or defame her, Britney will be forced to consider and take all appropriate legal action.”

Rosengart also said the last thing Britney’s camp wants to do is bring more attention to Jamie’s book. He said, the book contains misleading and outrageous claims about Britney. Rosengart added,

“Britney has not read and does not intend to read your book, she and millions of her fans were shocked to see how you have exploited her for monetary gain. She will not tolerate it, nor should she.”

Rosengart then pointed out how difficult it has been for Britney while growing up. He called out Jamie and said “”You of all people know the abuse and wrongdoing Britney had to endure during the conservatorship.” He also fired at Britney and Jamie’s father, calling him “ruinous” and “alcoholic.”

Mat then further went onto to hit back hard Jamie. He pointed out Britney was the family’s sole breadwinner and she has always supporter Jamie. He added, “Publicly airing false or fantastical grievances is wrong, especially when designed to sell books. It is also potentially unlawful and defamatory.” It appears the drama between the sister duo will only continue to escalate. Meanwhile, Jamie has yet to respond to the letter.
