Buffalo metalcore band, Every Time I die have decided to split up. The decision might come as a surprise to most fans, since this news comes hot on the heels of their most recent album, “Radical,” which released last October.

The band was supposed to go on tour to promote their new album. However, vocalist Keith Buckley announced back in December that he would be taking a hiatus from the band to focus on his mental health.

Guitarist Andy Williams, know as the Butcher in the wrestling ring, took to Twitter to put out a statement confirming the band’s breakup. In the statement, Williams also addressed Buckley’s hiatus.

Every Time I Die was these 5 members, and we were never budging or accepting any changes. Simply, there is zero truth about the band continuing on with a new singer.

The statement also revealed that the other band members have not been able to communicate with Keith Buckley, “because it’s either impossible for direct communication with him solely or [they’ve] been cut off to any and all communication by him himself.”

The statement also expressed disappointment in how the situation played out. However, the closing lines of the statement expressed the band’s gratitude for all the support and the memories. Check out the tweet below.
