Simon Cowell Is Engaged To Lauren Silverman

Wedding bells are ringing and this time for Simon Cowell and his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Silverman. The couple is now officially engaged after dating for a long time.

Simon and Silverman have been dating since 20014. Although the couple is not legally married, they are super happy with each other. The pair welcomed their son Eric in 2014.

However, the pair is now ready to tie knots. According to PEOPLE, the 62-year-old Cowell proposed to 44-year-old Lauren Silverman on Christmas Eve in Barbados. The couple was on a walk along the beach when Cowell popped the question. Simon and Lauren were in Barbados for a family vacation, so Cowell and Silverman’s 7-year-old son Eric and Silverman’s 16-year-old son Adam were both present to celebrate the occasion.

Although Simon once said that there is no need for him to get married, it seems that’s no longer the case. Silverman is a socialite from New York City. When she first met Cowell in 2004, she was married to a close friend of his, real estate developer Andrew Silverman. Lauren and Andrew Silverman share a son together, Adam.

Simon and Lauren’s engagement came after over seven years of dating. Although there is no news of the couple getting married yet, we still wish the couple all the luck for their future endeavors,
