Eminem is one of the most successful rappers of all time. The Detroit native has packed arenas and sold a boatload of records. Slim Shady is also extremely popular online. Marshall recently hit a huge milestone for his YouTube channel.
There are only a handful of other musicians who have ever reached 50 million followers on YouTube. The current crop includes Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, and Ariana Grande. Now Eminem has joined that elite class.
Eminem celebrated his 50 millionth YouTube follower with a retrospective video showing some highlights from his outstanding career. Shady himself can’t believe the transformation he’s made from nobody to 50 million. The Instagram post came with a caption as well.
“‘Now how the fuck did this metamorphosis happen? From standin’ on corners and porches just rappin” 50 million subscribers and counting”
The caption is a quote from the song “Sing for the Moment.” Eminem knows it’s been a long road to the top. Shady’s longevity is what separates him from the rest of the pack.
Eminem will continue to rack up the YouTube followers. A timeless career that has seen so much success deserves the accolades. Congratulations to Eminem for reaching 50 million YouTube subscribers!
