Tom Brady Didn’t Get Dinner Invite From Rob Gronkowski After Getting $1 Million Bonus

Tom Brady defied his head coach and kept the starters in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ blowout victory on Sunday. Brady wasn’t trying to embarrass the Carolina Panthers. Tom was just trying to help his friend Rob Gronkowski earn a cool million.

Gronkowski needed to hit two statistical milestones in order to have a contractual bonus kick in. The cash totaled $1 million. Tom Terrific decided he wasn’t leaving the game until Gronk got his money.

The hulking tight end ultimately earned the full bonus amount. Tom Brady’s friendship is the primary reason Gronk was even still in the game. It turns out Gronkowski didn’t show much gratitude. Brady told the Let’s Go! podcast that he wasn’t invited to dinner after the game.

“I don’t know, man. That’s ok. I know what he eats. Let’s just say it’s not along the guidelines of TB12 so he can have his dinner without me.

Tom Brady and Gronk have the type of relationship where they can joke with one another. The pair has been winning Super Bowls together for years. Rob Gronkowski knows he can get away with cheaping out on dinner.
