NHL players make a fine salary, but two of them had to face an unexpected expense as someone stole their rides. Last Wednesday’s Winnipeg Jets vs Chicago Blackhawks match was postponed and two Blackhawks players decided to go out for dinner in their respective cars. It did not go as intended

While Caleb Jones and Connor Murphy were having dinner at a restaurant near the United Center, their cars were stolen.

According to TMZ, the valet on duty was stuck up with an unknown object and was forced to give up the possession of the cars’ keys. The thieves took the motor vehicles and fled the scene.

Jones owned a 2021 Jeep Trackhawk while Murphy had a 2017 Porsche Panamera both collectively worth around $200K. The Chicago Police department is currently looking into the matter and no additional details has been revealed as of this writing.
