Rap music can be a very dangerous place to operate. Sadly, we have another grim story to report. The number of deaths related to violence in the rap community in the past has been utterly ridiculous. Now there’s a new name in the news, J $tash has committed something very disturbing.
J $tash Is best known for his affiliation to Rich The Kid as a former signee to his Rich Forever label. Sadly, he passed away at 28-years-old. According to a report from KTLA 5, the rapper, whose real name is Justin Joseph, fatally shot a 27-year-old woman, Jeanette Gallegos, in front of her three children before proceeding to take his own life.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were responding to a domestic violence where they found Gallegos with multiple gunshot wounds. This led to the authorities initially suspecting that J Stash fatally shot her before turning the gun on himself.
“Right now, the evidence at the scene and the preliminary information we have from the children in the home is that it’s a murder-suicide,”
A gun was found at the scene. The woman’s three children, ranging in age from 5 to 11, were removed from the home after deputies arrived. They lived in the home and were unharmed. No further details about the incident have been released.
J $tash has dealt with domestic incidents in the past. In September 2014, he was accused of brutally beating his former girlfriend Danielle Phaeton in the face and body. After turning himself in that October, the charges were ultimately dropped.
About an hour after the investigation began, authorities asked motorists to avoid the area amid the ongoing investigation. We can’t possibly fathom the trauma the kids would be facing after this incident. Every human life is important and it should be preserved by not making choices like these.
