Society is still feeling the effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic. The NBA is no exception. Several teams have had to scramble to fill their lineup cards and many games have been changed or postponed.

The Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling and scrambling to find their groove regardless of the virus. LeBron James was hurt for a good portion of the early season. The Lakers struggles have been well-documented.

King James recently talked about how the pandemic is affecting his team. He said that things can change completely based on one test. The team doesn’t have any chemistry at all right now, according to comments reported by HotNewHipHop.

“It’s literally a crap shoot every time you take a test (to see who will be out in health and safety protocols)… we have no chemistry with any lineup… it’s the truth.”

The Lakers are currently sporting an unimpressive record of 16-17. They’ve had several players in and out of the lineup due to COVID protocols. The team is truly experiencing a season on the brink.

LeBron and his teammates are in the midst of a four-game losing streak. They will get a chance to turn things around on Christmas night against the Brooklyn Nets. With each new report of a lack of chemistry and every loss counting in the standings, LeBron James knows the Lakers are staring at disaster.
