Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most beloved athletes in the world. Not only has Shaq established himself as a basketball legend, but also an all-round lovable dude, and fans love him for keeping it real.
Recently Shaq shared his fitness journey and the struggles he’s faced throughout it. It seems that the COVID pandemic caused some significant disturbances in Shaq’s health routine.
That being said, not being one to let anything get him down, Shaq shared his plans to get right back on the path to fitness. Jewel Wicker of Men’s Health claims that Shaq is prepping to post a shirtless picture on his 50th birthday in March next year.
Shaq revealed that during the pandemic, his weight peaked to 415 pounds, which he stated is his highest overall weight-gain record. However, Shaq has set the goal of 350 pounds for himself, and is already down to 365.
It seems that Shaq is well on his way to achieving his set goal, and 15 more pounds should not pose much of a challenge. It definitely seems like the pandemic was a difficult time for him, following the loss of his sister. However, it seems that Shaq has bounced right back. Here’s hoping that he continues to thrive.
