Betty White is a true Hollywood treasure. Her career spans all the way back to 1930, when she began appearing on radio dramas. She later found success in television and film. Her late career resurgence has exposed her body of work to a whole new generation of fans.

White isn’t immune to aging. Many fans might argue against that, but nature always takes its course. For Betty, she’s pushing 100 years old. She plans to celebrate the century mark with a special movie event for fans. White told CNN she’s excited for the event.

“Who doesn’t love a party?!? This one is gonna be GREAT!”

The former Golden Girl will celebrate her 100th with a special televised celebration. The big movie event, “Betty White: 100 Years Young – A Birthday Celebration” will be a reflection on her amazing life and career. White’s big birthday is on January 17.

Friends of Betty White will make up a star-studded cast for the tribute. Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Carol Burnett, Jimmy Kimmel, and more are scheduled to appear. She’s as popular among the stars as she is with fans.

The movie will be a career retrospective. Clips from her most iconic roles will be featured. Fans can expect to relive famous moments from “The Golden Girls,” her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, and her famous Snickers Super Bowl commercial. There are decades and decades of material to unpack.
