Chris Noth was a part of HBO’s follow-up to Sex & The City, titled …And Just Like That. The show referred to Peloton a number of times, and that led to a bad case of product placement. Fictional events in the show led to fluctuations in Peloton’s stock value in real time.

Peloton still took a step forward in maintaining a relationship with the show. Chris Noth shot a Peloton advertisement for the company, which they’d previously published on their social media accounts.

The actor has been dealing with sexual assault allegations. However, after the Los Angeles Police Department started an investigation regarding the allegations, Peloton decided it best to pull the advertisement from their social media accounts.

A Peloton representative came forward after the ads were removed from social media. The representative said that they did not know about the accusation against the actor when he was first featured in the ads.

Every single sexual assault accusation must be taken seriously. We were unaware of these allegations when we featured Chris Noth in our response to HBO’s reboot of the show. As we seek to learn more, we have stopped promoting this video and archived related social posts. (Provigil)

The advertisement was a response to the stock value dump that Peloton accidently suffered after featuring on the show. Noth has been accused of two instances, which were 2004 assault and a 2015 attack. The actor denies any involvement in both, but only the investigation can uncover the nature of this case.
