Chris Brown is close to a new deal with Quality Control Music. The Jasmine Brand reported the news. The singer is allegedly far along in his talks with the label.

Brown has worked for several labels throughout his career. He was discovered at age 13 by Hitmission Records. He signed with Jive in 2004. In 2011, MCA disbanded Jive. Brown was then bumped to RCA Records.

Chris signed a new deal with RCA in 2019. The extension and license agreement allowed Brown ownership of all his masters. This made him one of the youngest artists ever to score such a deal. RCA commented on the contract at the time.

“This new deal structure between Brown and RCA Records, will undoubtedly enhance the release of new Chris Brown music, content, and much more throughout 2019 and beyond.”
