Following Chrissy Teigen called out John for backing out on getting inked by their 5-year old daughter Luna on Ellen DeGeneres‘ show, the pop star went through with the idea and got inked.

On Sunday, Legend took to Instagram Stories to share his fresh arm tattoo with fans, tagging Teigen and his go-to tattoo artist Winter Stone in the post. The tattoo design depicts three flowers.

Teigen, 36, told Ellen that the ink was a long time coming. She and Legend, 42 , were first inspired to get tattoos after letting Luna use them as canvas.

Teigen recalled, “Luna was drawing on us one night, and she was like, ‘I love this. This is the best butterfly I’ve ever drawn’,”. She added to that saying, “And then she drew a beautiful floral bouquet on John’s arm, and he was like, ‘I’ll tattoo mine, if you tattoo yours.’”

While it may have been Legend’s idea, Teigen held up her end of the bargain back in June when she got herself inked with the same butterfly design from the same tattoo artist.

After Teigen called him out, Legend defended himself saying he forgot all about the idea and Teigen’s appearance on Ellen’s reminded him. Afterwards he called his tattoo artist up and followed through with the plan.
