Sony producer, Amy Pascal recently offered an update on Venom 3 while speaking with Collider about the upcoming release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Though she was pretty cautious with her answer, Pascal did confirm that Venom 3 is underway.

When Venom: Let There Be Carnage arrived in theaters earlier this year, the sequel became one of the most famous works of the pandemic-era box office. As of November 2021, the film has grossed over $400 million worldwide. It is the fifth Hollywood movie that topped the four-century worldwide milestone since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

It only makes sense that Marvel and Sony would want to follow through with a Venom 3 after the massive success of Venom: Let There Be Carnage. It will be interesting to see what direction creators will go in for Venom 3, and how much of the plot will rely on the previous Marvel storylines. There are several Venom stories from the comics that have yet to reach the screen.

“We are in the planning stages right now but what we are focused on is getting everybody to come and see No Way Home,” revealed Amy. Fans can only speculate about Venom 3 as of now as neither the title nor the tentative release date has been revealed yet.
