Claressa Shields is touted as the greatest female boxer of all time. Earlier this month she made it clear that she has no intention of ever facing off against Jake Paul in a boxing match. Shields also claimed she would knock Paul out with just a jab.

Earlier this year, Shields squared off against Abigail Montes during a featured bout on the 2021 PFL Championship main card. It marked her second MMA fight and Shields lost via split decision. She is now 1-1 in the world of MMA.

Naturally, Jake Paul trolled her after that. Claressa Shields took to Twitter recently and flaunted her 3.0 GP in high school, stating that people aren’t aware of how smart she really is.

Y’all know what’s funny, nobody ever talk about how smart I am graduated high school with 3.0 gpa & now I’ve mastered women’s boxing & making 7 figures in women’s boxing… only pro 5 years. I didn’t get here by yelling “pay me money!

It seems Claressa Shields’ tweet backfired in a huge way because instead of being appreciated for her 3.0 GPA, she was brutally clowned by fans on Twitter for even trying to flex her grades.

I cannot believe she is flexing a 3.0 high school gpa…

You think thats good, I drew a picture when I was six that my mom kept on the fridge for a whole month.

“My mama tells me I’m tye smartest between me and my siblings “

To be fair I would never have expected her gpa to be that high. She did far better then I did in school lol but true

“I scored PROFICIENT on my standardized testing in grade school u have no idea my intellectual boundaries”

Despite her post backfiring in a huge there, there is certainly no denying just how good she was inside the professional boxing ring. While her MMA career is still new, it remains to be seen whether she will find as much success there as well.
