In October the Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was ejected out of Jackson Winkeljohn MMA Academy. He was arrested for domestic violence at Caesars Palace. It happened at night after a UFC Hall of Fame ceremony.

The reason for Jones arrest was alcohol. He was heartbroken to leave Mike Winkeljohn and the gym. He said that it has been his home for the vast majority of his pro MMA career.

Jon Jones Posted a clip of himself on Instagram. On November 27, 2021, he shared a clip of himself practicing with the freestyle wrestling Olympic bronze medal J’den Cox.

Bones is getting in some training at the Fight Ready MMA & Fitness gym, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is training alongside former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo. Bones is preparing for his debut north of 205-pounds.

Jones is planning on returning to the Octagon in 2022 and he’s aiming for a heavyweight title shot. To do this, Bones vacated the light heavyweight title, a piece of hardware he has defended a record 11 times. Jones has not competed since defeating Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 in 2020. He and the UFC had suggested he would return to action in early 2022.
