Nas’ King’s Disease II received a nomination for Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards on Tuesday, November 23. He is now standing against J. Cole’s The Off-Season, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, Tyler, The Creator’s Call Me If You Get Lost and Kanye West’s Donda. The original King’s Disease won Best Rap Album at the 2021 Grammy Awards and marked Nas’ first-ever Grammy win. On top of his great UberEats campaign with Elton John. LNX is doing pretty well for himself.

Nas  won the bidding war and now he is the proud owner of a $3.5 million mansion in the outskirts of Calabasas, California. The mansion was built in 2007 and it’s 6,500 square feet. The mansion is described as a “Mediterranean-meets-Southwestern architectural-style mashup.”

The home was originally priced for $2.5 million. After it attracted so much interest, a bidding war increased its price by $1 million. Finally, Nas became the owner of the property by throwing down the highest offer. The artist, whose real name is Montero Hill, tweeted that he had purchased his first home on March 5, and the deal closed on March 9.

He shared shots of himself by his glass front door, in his kitchen, lounging in his soaking tub and hanging out by his oversized hot tub, and responded to one comment by writing, “This the first one! The next one I’ll create myself!.” Privacy is guaranteed as it is surrounded by mountains, along with a lengthy driveway, gates, security cameras and an eight-car garage.

The mansion includes a master suite with a large walk-in closet and a private balcony. A sliding door opens onto a custom master bathroom that has marble tile, a free-standing tub, a rain shower, and double vanities. All of the other bedrooms are suites with their bathrooms. There’s also a gourmet kitchen with an oversized island, as well as top-of-the-line appliances that include a double oven and wine refrigerator.

Other interior features include a fireplace, built-in speakers, a finished garage, wide-plank hardwood floors, 12-foot ceilings and what the listing describes as a “secret room.” There’s also a spacious yard that includes an exterior bathroom, as well as a deck and hot tub, while the fenced yard offers sweeping views of the surrounding hills, with the city in the distance.
