Thanksgiving is a day of tradition and being grateful for all one has in their life. As far as traditions go, Macy’s Thanksgiving parades are certainly one of them. It seems six new balloons will be introduced this year.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parades always make sure to include the most notable characters in pop culture and also those with historical significance. This year’s additions bring some of the biggest characters in popular culture to the sky, in addition to a couple of heritage balloons.

‘Ada Twist, Scientist’ star Ada Twist will debut her own balloon at the 95th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The department store revealed her balloon pen equates to the same length as 27 real pens lined up.

Grogu from ‘The Mandalorian’ will also get his own balloon measuring 29-feet long, 37-feet wide and 41-feet tall. McDonald’s mascot Ronald McDonald will also return in the parade, this time with a new look. It will be the famous clown’s fifth design since he first appeared on the parade route in 1987.

Pikachu & Eevee from ‘Pokemon’ will also get their own balloons in order to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the franchise. The first of two heritage balloons debuting at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year is Tiptoe, the “first-ever balloon puppet to march down the route

Toni the Bandleader Bear is the second heritage balloon. The 28-feet long, 24-feet wide and 39-feet tall balloon features a few of Macy’s iconic stars, such as on its hat and cheeks. The 95th edition of Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade certainly looks to be the best one yet as fans will love tuning into their televisions and seeing the balloons.
