Eminem’s contributions to the world of Hip-Hop cannot be understated in any way. Artists such as Skylar Grey still get starstruck working with him even now. It seems he maintained a dangerous crowd during a concert as well.

Eminem has a huge connection with his fans that can never be broken. In fact, he used that connection to possibly prevent pure disaster during a concert early on in his career.

In 2002, Eminem and Big Proof stopped the DC crowd from crushing the front rows as they paused pausing their performance and addressing the audience.

As seen in an amateur footage that surfaced online, Eminem and his friend and hype man Proof talk the audience down and prevent a crowd surge that could have seen many lives lost.

Ayo, hold up, stop it! You gotta **** the calm down. You gotta quit pushing towards the ******* front, or we cannot perform. I got police telling me that show is cancelled if you all do not stop pushing towards the front. You guys gotta cool the **** down so we can do the show. Ayo, if you got somebody on the ground in front of you, help them up. Help them up above the ground. So we can not continue the show until you chill the **** out. Calm the **** down, DC. Calm down, quit pushing. DC, everybody back the **** up so we can continue the show!

Unfortunately, had Travis Scott been able to do the same during his Astroworld concert, perhaps so many lives wouldn’t have been lost and so much damage could have been avoided.
