Drake decided to pull his song from French Montana’s upcoming album after what went on at Astroworld.

Drizzy performed at Astroworld with Travis Scott during his tragic set that ended up taking the lives of 10 people so far. Due to this, Drake’s song will not be included in French Montana’s new album.

French is set to release “They Got Amnesia” on Friday. Fans were hyped about a song on the called “Splash Brothers” that featured Drake. That song was pulled from Apple Music and will not be on the record when it drops.

According to TMZ, “sources with direct knowledge tell us Drake asked for the song to come down before release because he’s still reeling from what happened at Astroworld.”

French Montana had no issue with the song on the record, but Drake decided to nix it. It will be released as a single and will be on a deluxe version of “They Got Amnesia” instead. That will happen down the road.

Fans will still hear French Montana’s song with Drake, but they will have to wait. At the end of the day, this was probably the right move.
